FAFSA

FAFSA Ready AZ

Arizona is stepping up to ensure every high school senior seizes the opportunity of higher education by completing the FAFSA. We’re raising the bar with a bold 48% FAFSA completion goal.

FAFSA is the key to unlocking financial aid for college

By submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), Arizona high school students gain access to federal and state grants, work-study opportunities, loans and many scholarships. Every eligible student should complete the FAFSA—even if you think you won’t qualify—to maximize your options for making college affordable.

Each year, Arizona seniors leave more than $100 million in Pell Grants unclaimed simply by not applying. For 2026–27, our goal is to reach 48% FAFSA completion among Arizona’s high school class of 2026. Let’s rally together—educators, families and communities—to ensure every Arizona senior secures the financial support they deserve.
